Don’t half ass “personalized” sales outbound
I got a very nice email from one of our software vendors congratulating us on a new launch of a product.
I thought that this was a good email-opener and attention grabber, it means that a human definitely looked at our stuff, I should take a peep at theirs.
The big problem though was that in their email they were talking about how we could use their tools to monitor our usage of one of our competitors’s products.
Think, if someone emailed OpenAI for LLM monitoring solutions for Claude….pretty funny
